Volleyball team gets 100th win

The history of the Caldwell County volleyball program is not a long one, but the Lady Tigers have been able to amass wins pretty quickly. CCHS got its 100th victory on the volleyball court Thursday night, winning 25-22, 25-18 at Union County. Im not sure it means a whole lot to this years team, but the coaches are pretty excited about, noted Caldwell head coach Sue Stone, who has guided the program since its inception in 2001. (Assistant coach) Lisa (Newby) and I have been here since the beginning and Dawnyelle (Belt) joined us the second year. Hopefully well be able to add some more wins this year. The victory improved Caldwell to 10-5 this season, and 100-65-2 in 51/2 years. Im not sure how that stacks up against other programs, but we feel pretty good about it, said Stone.
